Why Mental Health First Aid?
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
How Blended MHFA Works: 2 hours of online self-paced coursework followed by a scheduled 5.5 hour IN-PERSON Instructor-led class (6 hrs including breaks).
What it Costs: 23.95 per participant, $50.00 for 7.5 CEU's ( LCPC/LPC, LCSW/LSW, LMFT, CPDU, RN and Psychologist)

- 3 Year MHFA certification 7.5 CEU's (LCPC/LPC, LCSW/LSW, LMFT, RN, and Psychologist) for a $50 Fee
2 weeks prior to the instructor led course, participants will receive an email from "Mental First Aid Team" inviting you to create an account. Once the invitation is accepted, you will be assigned the pre-work for this class. This pre-work needs to be completed at 24 hrs prior (04/29/22) to the In-Person Instructor led portion of this course.
